Christmas Day 2005

Our fireplace in the kitchen
Originally uploaded by ArneA.
All over the world people celebrate Christmas Day. In Norway we mostly celebrate Christmas Evening, and today it is silent, slow and boaring for many. Everything is closed and you have to be at home doing nothing. At least that was how we as children saw the day.
I therefore present for you the fireplace at our kitchen as a symbol of a late breakfast, winter cold outside the windows and peace in the house. We had a nice day yesterday together with Rikke and Tor Marius pluss Emil and Ida.
To all of you, family and friends, thanks for all greetings and the Christmas gifts.

This new restaurant close to the Parliament in Oslo has during a few weeks become our favourite lunch Cafe. Top ranking in most newspapers and for urban people as us, an absolute "will return" place.
Go and look at the advertising signs from the 50´s and get familiar with our childhood.
