Winter Holiday in Brighton and London.
Visiting Helene, Trine and David, but also spend some days walking around in the streets of London doing window shopping, buying things and looking at people. We did not pass by every pubs.
The new Apple Shop in Regent Street was fantastic, the spring collections at Zara, Fresh and River Island very interesting, Sotheby´s in New Bond Street had a huge poster of E.Munch´s last high record "summerday" and the Italian restaurant Concordia near Paddington became our favourite dinner place.

  • We also got time (in the cold and soft snow) to visit the highlights of the Collection at:
  • the National Gallery
  • But most intriging this time was the window installation at Selfridges Oxford Street by Wang Qingsong. Wang Qingsong is an acclaimed Chinese artist. His work, ‘Follow Me’, has been specially created for Selfridges and is inspired by the global fascination with shopping. “I hope my work will create a new understanding of how the very act of shopping has become a way of engaging in international communication,” says Qingsong. These three pictures from some of the windows at the entire length of the building is very special.
