Art in Brussel
Visiting Brussel gives you a great possibility to see different kind of Art.
First of all you will in the Rue des Bouchers see the restaurants cover their entrance with the seafood hoping that customers will come in and eat moules frites.
However the most spectacular art may be the 18 large comic strip images decorating sides of buildings. The first is Lucky (faster than his shadow) Luke by Morris
The next is Larger-than-life by Frank Pe
and lots of other decoratios which you can see along the Comic Strip Route
At the market the wig is not yet covering the bold head, and the beauty is still there.
This tour ends at Porte de Namur where the expensive shopping district ends if you walk form the Palais de Justice and follow Boulevard de Waterloo.
And do not forget that in 2007 the Musee d´art Modern will have a great presentation of Rene Magrittes paintings. This is from a wall at Brasserie de la Roue d´Or.
